		<description>I found out the hard way this weekend that the location of the Mail indexes have moved in 10.7. You can still quit Mail, delete the index files, and then relaunch Mail to have it regenerate them.

The new location is:

~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/

And now instead of just one file called &quot;Envelope Index&quot;, there are at least three files. The two new ones are “Envelope Index” suffixed with a dash and three letters.

So to rebuild in 10.7 you do this:

1) Quit Mail
2) rm ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope\ Index*
3) Relaunch Mail
4) Allow Mail to rebuild your email indexes</description>
