		<description>Gentlemen, you are right.  I have been caught out by Snow Leopard again.  Apologies.

It can still be done (I&#039;ve just tried it and it works), but you need to replace the app.icns file inside mail.app&#039;s application package.  I’ll post up a walk through tonight.</description>

		<description>Just a heads-up that messing with Mail&#039;s internal resources (like changing the icon) can have some adverse effects, due to the fact that Apple code signs all of its applications now. I could be wrong about this, but I&#039;m fairly certain if you change the icon it will break code signing and cause issues when Mail tries to access the keychain.</description>

		<description>Is it just me, or does the simple icon replacement method no longer work for Snow Leopard? I&#039;ve changed Mail icons in Tiger and Leopard to display a Canadian stamp, but haven&#039;t been able to do this in 10.6.</description>
