you think by now someone would make an easy way to hack newer phones, an app – one for all kinda thing. just my thoughts, if you get a min take a look at my site, hopefully you’ll like :)

I’ve tested it with Motorola’s L7 and several Nokia mobiles: this works great for me, except that I have to enable Dashboard to use it. An app would be appreciated.

Dunno about anyone else out there but for me more often than not my make fails to talk to my Nokia. This happened in the ‘old’ address book sms days as well. I have sent a few messages with emitSMS and love and wish it would work every time. iSync works fine. It seems Address Book to SMS either directly or through a 3rd party app such as emitSMS is hit and miss at best. Anyone?

Its worth noting the free Yahoo! Messenger for Mac (http://messenger.yahoo.com), which will let you send SMS text messages at no charge and without involving your phone. Recipient replies are routed back into Messenger. (Disclaimer: I work on this product.)
