In fairness... the problem seems to have sorted itself out. I deleted all the hotmail folders and account... all 4 of them. Now works fine. I think this occurred as I UPGRADED to Leopard and it may have been confused with the HTTP setting I had with the previous OS. I hope it works consistently across all my machines. It did ot on Tiger which makes little sense to me. But, as long as it does at work I am a happy camper.
