I've been using OMIC and the recent version seems to have problems for me. I get the following error in my console and then it hangs. This happens when I'm retrieving email from gmail using POP and hangs the session and doesn't let me exit or time out. Have you encountered this?

<blockquote>Seems not to be a TNEF file

I try KIT and was very shocked with how it search... It can't search russian, and even english sometimes not found. I download and install it. Added 2 new notes and one webarchive and... All I can find with buildin feature is demo notes about KIT itself... I try Spotlight to see maybe new note wasn't indexed (I'm sure KIT uses Spotlight...) and Spotlight find those notes but not KIT. Hmm... Yojimbo is better (though more expensive) and for now I choose between Yojimbo and Journler which is free/donationware btw.

On a very off-topic comment, I was wondering if you knew anything about the mail client 'Balzac' which I stumbled across while looking at Growl-compatible apps. Not that I'd switch from Mail.app, but I was just curious. Thanks!

Yeah I have been busting for coloured folders in Mail.app for ages. It really makes no sense because in Calendar.app you can great groups and assign a colour (clients, personal etc) but the same functionality has not been replicated in Mail.app. In fact, it's also missing in Address Book.
