i’m still a bit confused - i understood the old way involved creating three folders of eudora content (attachments, messages etc) with specific spelling and capitalization before moving to the app…

Oops, you are of course correct - this step is still required. I guess I made it look a little too easy. There are step-by-step instructions in the Read Me (no pics though)

thank you so much for posting this distinct follow up - hadn't been on the site in days and i was shocked by the inflammatory comment on the other post...i've actually emailed andreas in the past and he was great, very responsive, answered some q's, offered future assistance if needed, and explained how his solution worked..

after looking over tons of options and alternatives, it is clear that this is absolutely the way to do it....

anybody willing to provide a detailed walkthrough with screenshots? eg. "first i downloaded this and installed it, here's a screenshot of the app, then i created these folders etc" ?

this is obviously a bit item for me and potentially many other eudora users as qualcomm has announced that they are dropping eudora and migrating to open source but around thunderbird...and i'd rather move to a mac (perhaps) and stick with mail.app and not thunderbird...
