The Beginning Of The End
Yesterday my six year-old son beat me handsomely and repeatedly at a highly addictive Flash game called “Bubble Shooter”
:

I foresee years of humiliation stretching out unbroken into the future and only partially concealed under the cover of “supportive parenting”.

Congratulations ;-) My 5 year old son beats me in all kinds of platform games (think Super Mario). But I’ll take my revenge when he’s old enough to play Starcraft ;)

Check out the free Frozen Bubble. Pretty much the same thing, but you don’t have to play through your browser.

Ha ha! Sucker.
Oh wait, I have a two and half year old son.
….I foresee myself getting game-smacked in the not too distant future. :(

Tim, assuming you haven’t taught him chess yet (I learnt when I was seven), you have that to look forward to. I didn’t even start beating my father in a proper game of chess for years.
(BTW, this small consolation is not compatible with the film “Searching for Bobby Fischer”.)
