I just found & installed KeyCue (from macility.com), a small app that shows you all available hotkey shortcuts when you hold the Cmd button. Brilliantly useful idea, and it works great so far...

Good point, Andreas. Because Australia uses US layouts in its keyboards, it never occurred to me.

How do the system-wide shortcuts differ in the UK?

“every keyboard secret in OS X” - ahem, provided you're using the US keyboard layout. Tiny contraint that's crucial to a probably not exactly tiny fraction of OS X users

Someone should count and see if he has more shortcuts involving the right arrow than shortcuts involving the left arrow. This could very well be a subtle form of right wing propaganda.

Hmmm.... I'd never heard of him before, so didn't know whether he was a douche bag or not. Quickly glancing over his blog indicates he has a colourful turn of phrase at the very least and enjoys holding a grudge.

In any case, I console myself with the thought that any potential or possible douche-bag-ness can't really impact on a list of shortcuts. It's not an opinion piece.

Given that the Rixstep guy is a douchebag, who gets off on badmouthing OS X shareware developers, I'm kinda disappointed you linked to him. Especially given how meager his list of shortcuts is.
