Then again I suppose most people out there really don't have access to the server that runs their email, whether it be just by hosting it with someone or going with some form of web mail. I personally think that spamassassin is the best way to kill off spam. Ever since I've been using it (several years now) I haven't been getting spam. The only spam I get is on my work account, and unfortunately that's exchange with no spam filtering. So I basically just wrote a rule that states it it's not directly towards me (or the few lists I'm on work wise) or in my sent folder for that account, slam it into the junk box.
