I'm a bit confused -- has a new update to Mail.appetizer actually been released? The last one that I see on the site is 1.2 beta 4, which is dated July 7, 2005.

I don't think this can be done. Probably the best option is clicking the "Open Mail.app" icon on the botttom of the Mail.Appetizer and take it from there.

I'm not one to go into OCD fits if I don't get my mail immediately, so I am not necessarily the target audience for this app. However, it came to mind that an integration with Mail Act On and Mail Tags would be fantastic. With a couple of keystrokes, you can file the incoming message without going into mail.app.

Is this possible?

I've always liked this app -- I teeter between it, then go to GrowlMail, then decide to go back, it's good to see it improving.

If you use Mail.app, it's already downloaded. I want to view it from the server without downloading it first.

Is there a way to do that in Mail.app? View mail on the server and then checking (?) which ones to download?

Don't worry if you don't understand why I need something like this. I used this type of program when I ran Windows and I found it pretty useful. I'm just trying to find a similar app for Mac.

This would be a lot more useful if this were a stand alone app and not dependant on Mail.app running.

I'm wanting something that will check mail directly on the POP server and allow me to preview, delete, filter messages directly on the server before I download them.
