Very optimisticly I tried that feature last January when I went from Iceland to US for the MacWorld show. I was trying to make the most of my time so I had put the hours of the conferences into iCal before I took the flight. So... iCal's timezone was 8 zones off! hehe

The timezones are a step in the right direction. You can't, however, show that your flight is 5:22 Central to 7:30 Pacific -- you gotta choose one or the other. And I've encountered the occasional weird bug that suggests that the whole timezone notion is somewhat sloppily pasted on.
