Easily duplicate an event in iCal
A poster on macOSXHints provides a neat tip
for duplicating iCal events.
If you hold down the Option key, you can create a duplicate by dragging an existing event to a new place, just like creating a duplicate file in Finder.
It’s certainly quicker than the old copy and paste routine I have been using.
It also reminded me of another iCal tip posted on macOSXhints a while ago that I had since forgotten. If you hold down the Control and Option keys, you can create a new event over the top of an existing one simply by dragging the mouse pointer.
