SpamSieve 2.4.2
SpamSieve has been updated.
Apple Mail users will experience greater accuracy as SpamSieve gets smarter in general about spammer tricks and as a particular bug affecting accuracy in Mail.app has been corrected.
In addition, the new version features better analysis of attachments, improved phishing detection and faster execution of spam training commands in Tiger and Jaguar.
SpamSieve is available from the developer’s web site
and is shareware (USD 25).

I’m happy with the 97% accuracy Mail.app gives me on identifying junk mail, but I’m puzzled when sometimes it flags mail as junk from people in my address book or previous recipients list. It also has problems clearing some messages older than [1 day, 1 week, 1 month] old. It marks them as ‘read’ but doesn’t delete them!
