MySync, an app that offers .Mac syncing without a .Mac account, just got a lot more useful.
The developer has released an update with offers remote syncing beyond the local network.
The new version also offers SSL encryption, password authentication, “keep-alive” connections (for tunnelling through firewalls) and an emergency data restore facility.
MySync is currently in public beta, offering time-limited licences for the beta trial.
You can download the beta from the developer’s web site.
