Making Thunderbird look more Mac-like
Kevin Gerich and Stephen Horlander are the UI designers behind the default
In a post on his blog, Kevin describes the evolution of Thunderbird for Mac’s User Interface as they worked to give it a more “Mac-like” look.
The before and after shots are impressive:

Panther Mail’s UI is obviously a strong source of inspiration, although they wanted to “avoid copying Apple’s icons outright”.

I still don’t think Thunderbird is any Mac-like at all.
The whole UI has to change!
