I've had this problem to. :-( To fix it I tried removing my rules ... now I have to remember them all if I ever get it working again.

Thanks for letting me know about that. Even more puzzling, as my Act-on and MailTags plug-ins are working without any problem at all.

I'll head over to the Apple Discussions and see if I can figure out why I am not having any troubles.

A thread on Apple Discussions pointed to Mail Tags. I've removed the plugin and everything's working great.

Hey Gary and Brian,

That's a puzzle. My Act-On rules are all active and working fine.

Did you use the Combo update or did you update through the Software Update utility?

After the upgrade, the Mail Act-On plugin doesn't work at all.
So I checked the preferences and I realized that the mail program itself doesn't work properly:

1) I couldn't edit any of the rules
2) I coudn't duplicate any of the rules
3) I couldn't close the prefences dialog!!!!!

Can someone suggest how to downgrade to the previous version?
Thanks,
Brian

My rules look fine too. They're all enabled but none are working. I can only add or remove rules; edit and duplicate don't do anything. The investigation continues..
