NotifX is a notification utility for OS X (10.3 and greater) inspired by the PC email client IncrediMail. It features animated graphics and various noises.

I couldn’t decide whether to mention it out of a desire to be comprehensive or to omit it for reasons of good taste. You decide.

I didn’t test this.
