Fuhgeddaboutit: Make a To Do from an email
Like Mail2iCal, Fuhgeddaboutit is an AppleScript that creates a To Do item in iCal from an Apple Mail message.
First, install it in ~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Mail or whereever you like to install scripts.
After highlighting an email, you can select Fuhgeddaboutit from the AppleScript Menu or press its predefined keyboard shortcut (Control+2) and the script will launch a series of option boxes from which you can select the appropriate calendar, due date, summary and priority.
The To Do is then created and the email sender’s address inserted in the URL field for further reference.
It was written for Panther, but it works for me in Tiger. You can get the script from the ScriptBuilders website.
UPDATE: The latest update (1.0.1) is on versiontracker.

[...] This works in Mail.app messages (as do AppleScripts like Mail2Cal and Fuhgeddaboutit), where I have used it most, but also on text grabbed from web pages and elsewhere. The parsing is a little erratic, but it is still quicker than switching to iCal and entering the event or To Do manually. You can download this Services plug-in from QI Software’s web site. [...]
