Apple Mail vs. Ximian Evolution
Mike Salsbury has published a thoughtful comparison of Apple Mail and Ximian Evolution (a Linux mail client) on his blog. He is much taken with the unified “Outlook-like” nature of Evolution over the use of separate apps in OS X.
His conclusion that “the functionality [of Evolution is] at least as good as what Apple is offering, and perhaps even a fair amount better” may be debatable, but it makes an interesting read.
