Signature bug in Apple Mail?
MacFixIt is reporting a possible bug in the way Apple Mail handles signatures.
If you begin a message, and then “turn off” the signature by selecting “None” in the signature drop-down box, some text in the message may disappear, usually the first line.
I can’t reproduce this myself, but if this happens to you, MacFixit are asking you to contact them.

Man, this just happened to me. Had a whole letter typed to a friend in Mail.app, went and set my sig to None and lost 4 of the 5 paragraphs of text. Poof. Gone. The first paragraph was the only one remaining. Ctrl-Z and turning the sig back on did nothing.
And MacFixit wants me to pay $24.95 USD to read a possible fix?
Setup: Dual 2.3 G5, 10.4.4, Mail.app v2.0.5 (746/746.2). Bah!
