Scale to Mail: Resizing and emailing images
Scale to Mail is an AppleScript droplet that will resize an image and dump it into an email which it opens for you in Apple Mail.
Extract it to your desktop or place it in your Dock, drop the image on it, select the degree of reduction you want, and it goes to work, leaving you with a resized image in a fresh email. You can configure it to reduce by percentage or width, either chosen by you on the fly or pre-determined.
Perfect for those times when opening iPhoto or Photoshop is more trouble than it is worth. Scale to Mail is donation-ware and available from the developer’s website.
