Is Gmail better than sex?
I read somewhere that an enormous amount of traffic on the Internet is due to porn, and somewhere else I read the suggestion that porn above all things drives innovation in Internet technologies.
I don’t know if that it is true. But I do know that mentioning the word “Gmail” in a blog entry will instantly draw three (or even four) times as many hits as a more useful and interesting entry that doesn’t mention the G word.
I can come to only one sound conclusion: Gmail is the porn of the email blogging world.
(Of course, this has nothing to do with Apple Mail, but it does give me the chance to get the word “Gmail” into my feed again).

LOL! :-> I found the same thing on my blog in a post about “GMail’s missed potential”. I couldn’t figure out where the traffic was coming from given that I hadn’t pimped the post out to any aggregators…

I subsequently discovered that iPods are even better than Gmail.
There seems to be a hierarchy in these matters :)
