Outrage! Outlook better at spam than Apple Mail
MacinDaddy has noticed a recent report on ConsumerReports.org which claims that Outlook is better at handling spam than Apple Mail.
Hard-hitting consumer advice or sneaky PR/advertising? It’s so hard to tell these days, although in this case I have my suspicions….

Well I for one would never use just my email client for spam filtering. Then again I also have no idea how good Mail.app’s spam filtering is. I currently run spam assassin in qmail along with clamav. I also use procmail and pipe everything through spamassassin again.
Yeah, I’m still a procmail user, I just have so many home grown scripts and filters that I can’t get rid of. I also just stopped using pine for Mail.app yesterday, so yeah.
